Cedarvale Lodge—home to 60 residents—is located in Keswick, just north of Newmarket, in a scenic country setting close to Lake Simcoe, shopping and restaurants.
What's unique:
Weekly visits from a nurse practitioner, reducing resident admissions to hospital- Use of a wheelchair-accessible bus for shopping and tours
- Spa-like and fitness programs, including massage, reflexology, paraffin wax hand therapy, circuit training
- Strengthening program for people who are recovering from a stroke
- Multi-faith services on Sundays
- Art therapy, visiting pet program, and cultural theme days
