On June 15th, 2011, Specialty Care announced the passing of its founder, Mr. Antoine Jourdain, at the age of 87.  Mr. Jourdain was an accomplished entrepreneur and the founder and chairman of Specialty Care, Inc.

Mr. Jourdain opened his first Specialty Care nursing home in rural Ontario in 1977.  His vision was simple, to provide quality care and services to seniors requiring long term care.  Under the direction of the Jourdain family, Specialty Care has stayed true to this vision and has grown to become a well-respected provider of long term care and retirement homes in Ontario. 

In celebration of the life of Mr. Jourdain, we will continue to build upon this proud legacy.  We look forward to partnering with residents, families and the communities we work in, to create communities of caring.
